1 DAY TRIP TO LAKE NAKURU

SAFARI OVERVIEW

This is a 1 Day trip to Lake Nakuru national park. Nakuru is a 3-4 hours’ drive from Nairobi. The lake boasts not only of the flamingos but also approx. 400 other species of birds. Other wildlife can also be found in the park. This includes the Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, waterbuck, reedbuck, and many species. 

Trip Itinerary

6:00am: You will be pick up from your Nairobi hotel/airport by our company representative and driver guide and depart for your Lake Nakuru trip.

7:30am:  At the Great Rift Valley view point you will have a brief stopover to take photos and enjoy the spectacular views of the rift valley floor.

9:00am: Arrive at Lake Nakuru national park for a full day game drive. Start off around the lake where numerous flamingos, ibis, plovers, storks, white pelicans, herons and many others are found.

1:00pm: Picnic lunch at the lake

2:00pm:  Afternoon game drive for even more adventure in the park.

4:00pm: You depart Lake Nakuru national park for Nairobi.

7:00pm:  Drop off at your Nairobi hotel /at the airport for your outbound flight.
